Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd. (OOCL) proudly announces the maiden voyage of its two newest 24,188 TEU mega vessels, “OOCL Finland” and “OOCL Sweden.” These additions bring OOCL’s fleet of eco-friendly mega containerships to a total of ten, marking a significant advancement in the company’s fleet modernization efforts. Built by Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (DACKS) and Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (NACKS), these vessels embody the latest in sustainable maritime technology.
Both vessels are now operational on OOCL’s Asia-Europe LL1 service, which follows a comprehensive port rotation including Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Yantian, Singapore, Cape of Good Hope, Felixstowe, Zeebrugge, Gdansk, Wilhelmshaven, and back through the same route.
