AS Tallinna Sadam signed an agreement with the Estonian Ministry of Climate to transfer eight land plots with a total area of approximately 165 thousand square meters to the state. These territories are necessary for the construction of the Rail Baltica railway station in the Port of Muuga, a key infrastructure facility of the international corridor.

The transaction amounted to 4.884 million euros and covers the cost of the land, compensation for preparatory work and a motivational component. The transfer of property will speed up the implementation of the Rail Baltica project, which is of strategic importance for the region’s logistical integration with Europe.

The Port of Tallinn noted that this agreement will have a positive impact on the company’s financial performance in 2025, emphasizing the importance of the company’s participation in the development of national and international transport infrastructure.
