PSA Singapore and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines are establishing a joint Ro-Ro terminal in Singapore.

PSA Singapore (PSA) and Japanese shipping company Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd (MOL) announced the establishment of a joint venture to operate a Ro-Ro terminal in Singapore. The new project aims to improve operational quality and leverage synergies in global automotive logistics. The terminal is expected to open in the first half of this year, pending receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.

As the largest automotive transshipment hub in Southeast Asia, Singapore plays a key role in connecting Asian markets with other regions of the world. Its extensive route network and wide range of value-added services make the port a vital link in automotive supply chains. Through the partnership, MOL will gain more reliable and efficient terminal infrastructure for its Ro-Ro services, as well as long-term access to capacity to support growing automotive shipping volumes.

In the joint venture, MOL will leverage its global network of maritime services, while PSA will contribute its extensive experience in port terminal management. The joint operation of the Ro-Ro terminal will allow the companies to strengthen their strategic partnership and enhance Singapore’s competitiveness as a key global automotive logistics hub.
