In a significant milestone, the inaugural shipment from China to Azerbaijan via a container block train has been successfully completed. The train, originating from China, has reached its destination at the Baku port, marking the first of such journeys. A diverse cargo comprising 110 TEUs, encompassing electric vehicles, construction materials, and industrial products, has been transported from China to Azerbaijan.
This achievement is part of the collaborative efforts within the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, with key players including Xian Free Trade Port Construction and Operation, KTZ Express, and “ADY Container” LLC. The latter, “ADY Container” LLC, is actively broadening its partnership with Chinese entities to facilitate the organization of additional block trains, further strengthening international trade connections.
