International logistics provider Rhenus has joined Air France KLM Martinair Cargo’s Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) program, taking a step towards reducing its carbon footprint in aviation. The initiative aims to support sustainable solutions in air transport and offers Rhenus customers the opportunity to reduce their emissions.
The investment in SAF, produced from renewable resources such as used oils and agricultural residues, reflects Rhenus’ commitment to sustainability. The partnership not only reduces carbon emissions, but also helps the company’s customers achieve their own environmental goals. Additional solutions include the Emission Dashboard and the RHEGREEN tool, which optimizes the choice of carriers based on fuel efficiency and routes.
