Round table in Astana: Development of the Trans-Caspian Transport Route.

In the city of Astana, Kazakhstan, representatives of logistics enterprises from China and members of the ALE “International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” (ALE “IA “TMTM”), as well as other companies, gathered to discuss the prospects for the joint development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) The round table, held under the auspices of the ALE “MA TMTM”, became a platform for the exchange of experiences and ideas aimed at strengthening transport connections in the region.

The event was opened by the General Secretary of the Association of Legal Entities “MA TMTM” Gaidar Abdikerimov and the Secretary General of the “Lianyungang Belt and Road Development Research Association” Lin Beizhang, who expressed the importance of the joint development of the transit and transport potential of the TMTM. During the discussions, Beizhang shared his vision of the prospects for integrating the new Euro-Asian Continental Bridge with the TMTM route, while Maersk representative Tan Yali presented the company’s activities in the Euro-Asian transport space.

Participants in the route emphasized in their speeches the importance and potential for the development of TMTM. Deputy General Secretary of the Association of Legal Entities “MA TMTM” Saut Shynybaev presented the Chinese side with current information and prospects for the development of the route, while General Director of Semurg Invest LLP Nurzhan Marabaev introduced the capabilities of the new multifunctional sea terminal “Sarzha”. Kairat Kaliola, chief manager of the transport logistics department of Aktau Sea Trade Port JSC, shared information about the work and capabilities of the Aktau port in the context of the TMTM route. The round table not only became a platform for discussing common interests, but also contributed to the establishment of long-term partnerships between the participants, which opens up new prospects for the development of transport links in the region.
