From 28 April 2025, the intermodal service between Busto Arsizio and Padova will be transferred to the Novara terminal. This decision is part of the strategy to optimise the transport network and improve the efficiency of logistics operations.
The Permanent Secretariat of the IGC TRACECA and representatives of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program, implemented by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), held a working meeting dedicated to strengthening partnership in the field of transport and logistics. A meeting between Secretary General Asset Asavbayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lithuania to Azerbaijan Kęstutis Vaskelevičius and Minister Counsellor Viktoras Dagilis was held at the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of the TRACECA IGC in Baku. The main topic was the expansion of Lithuania’s participation in the TRACECA initiative and the discussion of steps to remove barriers on the Europe-Caucasus-Asia route.
