The World Shipping Council (WSC) has published its 2024 report on containers lost at sea, revealing a significant drop to just 221 containers lost in 2023. This marks the lowest number since the survey’s inception in 2008. Despite this progress, the WSC emphasizes the necessity for ongoing stringent safety measures, as each lost container represents a substantial risk.

A new Alliance of Logistics Centers and Cargo Carriers has been launched under the aegis of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) following its inaugural meeting on June 28, 2024, in Tashkent. CMA CGM Group has introduced the FRENCH PEAK SERVICE, an exceptional seasonal shipping service, to address the surge in demand for maritime transport between Asia, Northern Europe, and the Mediterranean.
