German Train Drivers’ Union claims the company is “driven unchecked into the wall”.
Nippon Express Europe GmbH (NX Europe), a subsidiary of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC., has signed a cooperation agreement with Ukrainian logistics provider Formag-Kiev. The goal of the cooperation is to provide logistical support for the recovery of Ukraine.
At a government meeting, Vice Minister of Transport Maksat Kaliakparov presented measures to modernize transport infrastructure and develop international corridors. Particular attention was paid to the ports of Aktau and Kuryk, where active work is underway. Construction of a container hub has begun in Aktau, and a new grain terminal with a capacity of one million tons per year has been commissioned in Kuryk.

The Latvian Cabinet of Ministers has approved an investment of €64.57 million for the development of infrastructure at the Free Port of Riga. The main goal is to create a “green” industrial area to attract offshore and onshore wind energy technology manufacturers, strengthening Latvia’s role in the European supply chain.
This infrastructure is part of the broader Križevci–Koprivnica–state border project, which includes reconstructing existing tracks and building a second track to increase capacity and connectivity.
