From 10 March 2025, Swiss operator Hupac is expanding its intermodal network with a new container train linking Tarragona and Barcelona with Antwerp. This route will provide direct access to the Hupac network, opening up additional logistics opportunities for Southern Europe.
The new service will offer reliable and environmentally friendly rail transport, reducing dependence on road transport and reducing CO₂ emissions. The route will be part of Hupac’s strategy to develop sustainable intermodal solutions, improving the efficiency of freight transport between Spain and Belgium.
