In January 2025, tariffs for road freight transportation in Kazakhstan increased by 0.7% compared to the same period last year. At the same time, international transportation increased in price by 1%, and domestic transportation decreased slightly by 0.3%.
Also in January, there was an increase in tariffs for other types of transport. Freight transportation by sea became more expensive by 12.8%, and by air – by 1%. Tariffs for international air transportation remained unchanged, while the cost of domestic transportation increased by 3.3%.
In addition, tariffs for transportation by pipelines increased by 1.2%. The cost of transporting oil through oil pipelines increased by 5.4%, and through gas pipelines decreased by 4.4%. Data on rail freight transportation has not yet been published.
