KazMunayGas subsidiary Kazmortransflot has signed a headline agreement with Abu Dhabi Ports Group from the UAE. The document provides for the construction of two container ships with a capacity of over 500 TEU, specially designed for work in the Caspian Sea.
The new shallow-draft vessels will significantly increase the cargo turnover and throughput capacity of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, strengthening its role in regional and international logistics.
