In Astana, a meeting was held between the Secretary General of the International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” (TITR) Gaidar Abdikerimov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kazakhstan Mr. Sylvain Guigouet.
The meeting discussed key issues of integrating the Trans-Caspian route into the European railway system. Gaidar Abdikerimov emphasized that the Association is actively working to modernize the route in order to turn it into a competitive and sustainable transport corridor that provides effective communication between Europe and Central Asia.
The head of the French Development Agency (AFD) representative office Gulnoza Callens also participated in the negotiations, which underlines the international attention to the development of the TITR.
