Казахстан и Кыргызстан договорились о разработке технико-экономического обоснования строительства новой автодороги, которая соединит Алматы с берегами озера Иссык-Куль. Решение принято на заседании Казахстанско-кыргызского Межправительственного совета.
The 280-kilometer route will pass through Uzynagash, the Kastek Pass, the village of Mikhailovka (Karasai Batyr) and the city of Kemin. The new highway will significantly improve transport links between the two countries, providing a convenient route for residents and tourists.
The project is planned to be financed by the Asian Development Bank in the form of targeted grants, which will accelerate the implementation of this significant project for the region.
