Kalmar has been awarded a contract to supply 20 hybrid material handlers to APM Terminals MedPort Tangier in Morocco. The equipment will be delivered during Q2 and Q3 2025. The order forms part of Kalmar’s Q3 2024 quarterly report and continues the successful cooperation between the companies.
APM Terminals MedPort Tangier, opened in 2019, is located in the Tanger Med 2 port and serves key routes between Europe, Africa, America and the Far East. The terminal currently uses 65 Kalmar material handlers. The new machines will be integrated into the terminal’s operating system using Kalmar One software, ensuring safe and smooth operation.
Kalmar President of Transport Arto Keskinen said the company is pleased to continue its cooperation with APM Terminals. All machines will be pre-configured, tested and integrated, minimizing their commissioning time.
