In Lithuania, construction of 13.7 km of roads for Rail Baltica has been completed.

The construction of the main line of the Rail Baltica high-speed railway in Jonava, Lithuania, is progressing well. Recently, 13.7 km of access roads with a drainage system were completed. Last year, another 18.3 km were built, creating a single road junction on both sides of the railway track under construction.

Work on the Žeimiai-Šeta section began in April 2023 and cost 7.7 million euros. The project was carried out by the Latvian company AS A.C.B., which was selected through a tender. Advanced methods such as 3D modeling and regular drone surveys were used to monitor the construction.

Temporary maintenance of the new roads will be carried out by LTG Infra until they are handed over to the Jonava Municipality. These roads will provide access to the railway for its maintenance and will also improve transport links for local residents.
