At the end of May, RCG completed the acquisition of the Dutch rail operator Captrain Netherlands B.V., significantly expanding its network to 14 countries. Now RCG is celebrating another success: its Dutch subsidiary has successfully completed its first international transport within the group.
This intermodal train runs four times a week between the port of Maasvlijk and Linz. The Dutch subsidiary takes over the transport of the train across the border to Rheinhausen, after which RCG’s German subsidiary continues the journey to Passau. The final leg of the route to Linz is carried out by a partner company under a contract with RCG.
With its own rail freight carrier in the Netherlands, RCG provides an efficient international turnkey solution, connecting the key economic regions of Western, Central, Southern and South-Eastern Europe. A wide network of transports in 14 countries is the basis for the company’s sustainable success in the international rail freight market.
