On August 15, 2024, a meeting with representatives of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) was held at the headquarters of the International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” (TITR Association). The meeting was attended by UNDP Resident Representative in Kazakhstan Katarzyna Wawernia and Analyst of the Effective Governance Department Aimgul Nurgaliyeva.
The parties discussed the key role of the TITR Association in developing infrastructure and strengthening regional cooperation in Central Asia. The Association is actively working to improve transport infrastructure, economic sustainability and social well-being, paying special attention to environmental sustainability and inclusiveness.
During the meeting, the prospects for the development of the TITR were also discussed, with an emphasis on minimizing environmental impact, sustainable use of natural resources, the use of green energy and digital technologies.
