Following the bilateral talks, the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Congo, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Denis Sassou Nguesso, made a joint statement for the press. Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan supports Congo’s desire for mutually beneficial cooperation.
The President of Kazakhstan announced the achievement of important agreements in the areas of agriculture, production, transport, logistics and energy. These agreements are aimed at enhancing political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the countries.
Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of expanding bilateral contacts in the transport and logistics sector, which will be a significant step in strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Congo.
