In the first five months of this year, rail traffic between Kazakhstan and China increased by 12%, reaching 12.8 million tons, compared to the same period last year.
According to NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC, export transportation increased by 17%, amounting to eight million tons. Imports to Kazakhstan by rail also increased by 6%, reaching 4.8 million tons.
These indicators indicate a significant increase in trade ties between Kazakhstan and China, highlighting the importance of rail transport for the development of international trade in the region.
