On February 9, 2024, the Annual General Final Meeting of the Union of Transport Workers “KAZLOGISTICS” was held in Kazakhstan. Under the leadership of the Chairman of the Presidium of the Union, Nurlan Sauranbayev, the meeting was attended by representatives of various departments, associations and business communities.
The agenda included discussing the results of the Union’s activities in 2023, problems and proposals of the leaders of the working groups on transport, acts of the audit commission and the budget for 2024 were approved. The Union’s Action Plan for the current year was also approved. During the meeting, issues of development of the transport and logistics industry in the country were discussed, priority tasks were put forward, and the interaction of the Union with government agencies and business structures was emphasized. The Union of Transport Workers has 66 active members, including such companies as NC KTZ, KTZ-Freight Transportation, Kaztemirtrans, KTZ-Express, Aktau Commercial Sea Port, Air Astana, Scat and others, a total number of more than 570 companies in the industry, collaborating with government agencies, associations and international organizations.
