В результате примечательного поворота событий порт Гданьск, крупнейший порт Польши, столкнулся со значительным ростом грузооборота, достигнув впечатляющих 81 млн тонн – впечатляющий рост более чем на 12,7 млн тонн по сравнению с предыдущим годом. Этот скачок можно объяснить геополитической ситуацией: лидируют сельскохозяйственные грузы с заметным ростом в 601 TP3T. Зерновые терминалы, работавшие на полную мощность в течение всего года, сыграли решающую роль в этом росте, обусловленном блокадой украинских портов на Черном море, что перенаправило транзит украинского зерна через польские порты.
The standout performer in the port’s overall success was the handling of liquid fuels, witnessing a remarkable 47% rise to 37.6 million tonnes, making Naftoport a vital oil hub for the region. Despite stable market needs for other power resources, the Port of Gdańsk maintained its momentum, with coal imports remaining steady at 13.3 million tonnes. Notably, container terminals recorded a 2.5% increase in cargo handling, contributing to the port’s remarkable growth. This success is further underscored by ZMPG S.A.’s exceptional financial performance, boasting a net profit of PLN 224.4 million in 2023, a stark contrast to the PLN 65 million recorded in 2021. These outstanding results reflect the port’s strategic focus on infrastructure development, with nearly PLN 1.3 billion invested since 2018, facilitating its position as the fastest-growing European port over the past decade, with a remarkable growth rate of 167%.
