Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov presented an initiative to create an integrated platform for coordinating EAEU freight flows based on artificial intelligence at an expanded meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. He stated that the geographic location of the union’s countries offers significant advantages for transit and logistics, but to fully realize this potential, infrastructure modernization and the implementation of modern transportation management systems are necessary.
The proposed AI platform will optimize freight movement between member states, reduce delivery times, and lower business costs. Bektenov emphasized that this step will increase the competitiveness of Eurasian transport corridors and strengthen the EAEU’s role in international logistics chains.
According to the Prime Minister, the implementation of modern transportation management technologies will be key to effectively harnessing the region’s transport potential and creating a more transparent and efficient system for monitoring freight flows within the EAEU.
