Azerbaijan Demir Yolları (ADY) announced the launch of its Cargo Tracking digital service, designed to monitor containers traveling internationally. The new tool provides real-time information on the location of transit, export, and import cargo at any stage of the journey.
Using the shipping document number, users can find the container’s number, current location, departure and destination stations, departure and expected arrival dates, and information about potential delays. The system also provides container specifications, including passport information.
The service is currently operational in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, with plans to expand to other countries participating in the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route project, which should improve the transparency and manageability of shipments along the Middle Corridor.
