In order to develop international transport corridors through Azerbaijan and increase their competitiveness, Azerbaijan Railways is actively implementing reforms and improvements. The key area has become cooperation with international partners on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route to promote the Middle Corridor, which ensures the transit of goods from East to West. In 2024, work began on the establishment of the Eurasian Transport Corridor Association.
From November 1, 2024, it is planned to reorganize the container transportation management structure: ADY Express LLC will merge with ADY Container LLC to offer customers a comprehensive service in the field of container and wagon transportation. The new format of work will improve the efficiency of transit operations, especially in the field of container transportation.
The combined company will focus on providing multimodal logistics services and introducing digital technologies to increase the transparency and safety of cargo transportation. These measures will improve customer service and strengthen Azerbaijan’s position as a key link in international transport corridors.
