The Baltic Hub container terminal in Gdansk has announced the launch of four new shipping services. As of the end of March, two weekly Maersk voyages as part of the Gemini Cooperation alliance will regularly call at the port, connecting it with Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven. From April, they will be joined by two MSC routes on the Asia-Europe routes as part of the Britannia and Albatros services.

All new lines will be serviced at the T3 terminal, built on a 36-hectare reclaimed area. The T3 project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025. After that, Baltic Hub will be able to handle up to 4.5 million TEU per year – 1.5 million TEU more than the current volumes, which will strengthen its status as one of the largest container hubs in Europe.
In addition to the new routes, Baltic Hub continues to work with its regular partners from the OCEAN ALLIANCE and CMA CGM. According to the company’s CEO, Jan van Mossevelde, expanding cooperation with global shipping lines and increasing throughput capacity opens up new prospects for the Central and Eastern European region.
