Batumi Port and Aktau Terminal have joined forces to develop the TITR.

Batumi Sea Port and Aktau Sea North Terminal LLP signed a strategic cooperation agreement to actively develop transit traffic between Georgia and Kazakhstan, including the effective use of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

The partnership provides for the exchange of experience, joint work on diversification of cargo flows, marketing coordination, interaction with shipping companies, as well as personnel training and organization of working visits. Both ports intend to apply modern approaches to cargo handling and monitor market dynamics in the region.

The agreement entered into force immediately and is designed for the long term without time limits, reflecting the parties’ desire for sustainable cooperation and strengthening the position of TITR in the Eurasian market.
