On the Dostyk-Moyynty section, construction of second tracks is underway according to the established schedule. More than 450 units of special equipment are used at the site, where about a thousand workers work.
To lay the second line, 836 kilometers long, specialists poured 6.4 million cubic meters of roadbed, built 15 bridges, installed 177 pipes and laid 406 kilometers of railway tracks.
Construction on the site began in November 2022, and is planned to be completed by 2025. The launch of the second tracks will significantly increase capacity, which will stimulate the development of the country’s transit potential and ensure uninterrupted export of products.
