После получения одобрения антимонопольных органов компания Contargo официально стала новым соучастником голландского железнодорожного оператора DistriRail BV. Ранее duisport и Van Donge & de Roo BV владели по 50% акций DistriRail до 1 января 2024 года. Теперь, при равном распределении акций, Contargo, duisport и Van Donge & de Roo BV владеют по одной трети акций. Управление компанией будет осуществляться совместно всеми тремя партнерами, что обеспечит независимость совета директоров.
Thomas Löffler, Managing Director of Contargo GmbH & Co.KG, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “By our participation in DistriRail, we are very happy to be additionally strengthening the area of rail transport at Contargo. We have been both a customer and a service provider for DistriRail for many years now – thus a cooperation at partnership level was a logical next step, and one that will especially benefit our customers.” Löffler added that, together with co-partners, they plan to significantly increase the number of round trips on the Rotterdam-Duisburg connection in the coming years.
