The 2nd Global China-Europe Railway Express (Chengdu-Chongqing) Partnership Conference, entitled “Connectivity and Open Exchange”, was held in Chongqing, China. Among the participants was Saut Shynybayev, Deputy Secretary General of the International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” (TITR).
The conference brought together hundreds of representatives of transport organizations, logistics companies, industrial parks, as well as experts and diplomats. The main topic was improving the quality, efficiency and safety of the China-Europe railway corridor. As part of the event, a Framework Agreement on Strategic Cooperation was signed between the TITR Association and Chinese logistics platforms Chengdu International Railway Port Investment & Development and Yuxinou Supply Chain Management.
The agreement is aimed at promoting and developing the TITR route, leveraging the key advantages of the Chengdu-Chongqing corridor and the strategic location of Central Asia and the South Caucasus. It envisages joint efforts to attract transit cargo between China and Europe, improve transport efficiency and create conditions for container transportation through Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and European countries.
