DHL Group increased revenue by 3% in 2024.

Logistics giant DHL Group ended 2024 with revenue growth of 3% to €84.2 billion, despite a challenging economic environment. The company posted particularly strong results in the fourth quarter: revenue increased by 6.4% to €22.7 billion and operating profit (EBIT) increased by 12.9% to €1.9 billion. However, overall EBIT for the year decreased by 7.2% to €5.9 billion, which nevertheless remains above the pre-pandemic level.

The Board of Directors will propose a dividend of €1.85 per share at the upcoming general meeting. The share buyback program has been expanded by €2 billion and extended until 2026, reaching a total of €6 billion. The company also launched the “Fit for Growth” initiative, which aims to reduce costs by more than €1 billion, including cutting 8,000 jobs at its German Post & Parcel unit.

In 2025, DHL Group expects its operating profit to rise to more than €6 billion, with free cash flow of around €3 billion. CEO Tobias Meyer said the strong fourth quarter demonstrates the resilience of the business and the company’s ability to deliver quality logistics services in a volatile market.
