The Dostyk-Alashankou transport hub has set a new freight turnover record of 18 million tons. This result underlines the strategic importance of the corridor for international logistics. The new figure has become a symbol of the efficiency and successful development of the hub.
The previous record was set in 2013 and amounted to 17.751 million tons. Eleven years later, thanks to infrastructure modernization and the well-coordinated work of the team, the result has exceeded expectations. More than 65 employees, including Dostyk station specialists and their colleagues from Alashankou (PRC), received Dostyq – Alashankoy jana record 18 mln.t medals and certificates of honor for their contribution to the achievement.
Director of the Almaty freight transportation department Nurym Zhaniyazov noted that the hub continues to develop, and the strategy is aimed at further increasing efficiency and international authority.
