Eurogate Intermodal (Egim) has acquired the German transport company Deisser Group, based in Stuttgart and specializing in container shipping in the Neckar region. The deal is effective retroactively from 1 January 2025 and aims to strengthen Egim’s position in the combined rail-road transport segment, as well as to increase the sustainability of the service in the face of market instability.
The Deisser Group, with 25 years of experience, will continue to operate under its own brand. Founder and Managing Director Eugen Deisser will remain in his position, all staff will be retained, and existing contracts will be fulfilled in full.
For Egim, this acquisition is an important step towards forming its own vehicle fleet, which is in line with the company’s strategy focused on quality control and service reliability.
