Проект железнодорожного терминала Гелдерланд (RTG) в голландской провинции Гелдерланд столкнулся с трудностями из-за отсутствия тендеров на его строительство и эксплуатацию. Несмотря на то, что регистрация заинтересованных сторон для участия в проекте была разрешена до конца декабря 2023 года, отсутствие интереса со стороны подрядчиков и операторов остаётся необъяснимым. Исполнительная власть провинции выражает разочарование и планирует оценить последствия и альтернативные варианты, после чего направит дальнейшие сообщения в Совет провинции.
Previously, on November 1, the Council of State had cleared the way for RTG construction by definitively rejecting objections. Initial plans aimed to commence groundwork in the second quarter of the current year, involving site preparation and access road construction. However, the selection of an operator for the rail terminal, a key step, is now pending. The Gelderland Rail Terminal, touted as the Netherlands’ first sustainable rail terminal, promises streamlined operations without the need for shunting, ultimately reducing environmental impact and enhancing business efficiency.
The RTG project, strategically located near Valburg, aims to facilitate regional companies utilizing transport options on the Betuwe Line. It converges rail transport via the Betuwe Line, road transport via the A15, and water transport via the river Waal, positioning itself as a pivotal hub for integrated transportation solutions.
