Kazakhstan and China: partnership in transport logistics.

International relations expert Anuar Bakhitkhanov noted that Kazakhstan is actively developing its transport and logistics potential due to its unique geographical location and large investments. The country seeks to become a key player in global trade chains, which will increase transit revenues and attract foreign investment.

One of Kazakhstan’s main partners in this area is China, which is actively investing in infrastructure as part of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. In addition to China, EU countries are also interested in developing the country’s transport routes, seeing Kazakhstan as an important link for trade between Asia and Europe.

The increase in throughput capacity depends on the dynamics of international trade and political stability in the region. A gradual increase in transit flows is predicted, which will lead to the full use of the new infrastructure.

In addition to strategic access to resources, China receives shorter and more stable routes for exporting its goods to Europe.

“China receives significant benefits from investing in Kazakhstan. Firstly, it provides stable and short routes for exporting its goods to European markets. Secondly, China strengthens its influence in Central Asia, gaining access to strategic resources and infrastructure facilities that can serve as strongholds for its global projects,” said Anuar Bakhitkhanov.

Kazakhstan, in turn, plans to expand the range of goods, offering partners not only raw materials, but also high-tech products, as well as agricultural products.
