Kazakhstan Railways (KTZ) held a business meeting with representatives of Slovenian companies Actual IT Group, Riko, Kontron and SOP International, who arrived as part of the official visit of Slovenian President Nataša Pirc-Musar. The discussion focused on expanding cooperation in the transport and logistics sector, including the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).
The parties discussed the prospects for introducing digital solutions for ports and logistics centers, modernizing the power supply systems of the railway network and the possibility of implementing joint projects. Representatives of KTZ and Slovenian businesses expressed their readiness to deepen the partnership aimed at developing sustainable and high-tech transport infrastructure.
The visit was a continuation of the agreements reached at the meeting of the presidents of Kazakhstan and Slovenia. During the talks, the leaders discussed the accession of the Slovenian port of Luka Koper to the TITR, outlining a course for Slovenia’s active participation in the formation of new routes between Europe and Asia.
