KTZ Express successfully organized the multimodal transportation of the first container train from China’s Shanxi Province to Azerbaijan along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR). The train of 50 containers with photovoltaic modules weighing more than 1,150 tons departed from the Zhongding logistics center in Jinzhong and transited through Kazakhstan.
In the port of Aktau, the cargo was reloaded onto a ship and delivered to Azerbaijan by sea, which became part of a well-coordinated multimodal logistics chain. This new route from northern China demonstrates the effectiveness of the Middle Corridor as a sustainable alternative to traditional routes.
KTZ Express continues to actively develop the TITR, strengthening the role of Kazakhstan as a key transit hub between Asia and Europe and ensuring reliable delivery of goods to the CIS countries, the Caucasus, Turkey and the EU.
