KTZ Express will take part in the implementation of key transport and logistics projects in the Caspian Sea region. This became known during a visiting meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Aktau, dedicated to the role of regional science in the development of the country’s transport infrastructure. Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Karabayev emphasized the importance of scientific support and announced large-scale investments in logistics.

In 2024, the construction of an oil loading terminal will begin in the port of Kuryk, and later – a facility for the export of “green hydrogen”. In the port of Aktau, with the participation of the Chinese side, a container hub project is being implemented, which will increase the throughput capacity from 140 to 240 thousand TEU. In parallel, the merchant fleet of Kazakhstan is doubling: by 2027, the number of ships will increase from 17 to 34.
The railway infrastructure of the region will also receive a major upgrade. Three new railway stations will be built in Mangistau Oblast: in Mangistau, Shetpe and Beineu. Modernization of the Beineu-Mangistau section, 404 km long, and installation of automatic blocking on the Shalkar-Beineu and Mangistau-Ozen routes, with a total length of 651 km, have begun. All these measures are aimed at strengthening Kazakhstan’s position in international logistics, including the development of routes served by KTZ Express.
