The state enterprise SJSC “Latvijas dzelzceļš” will announce tenders for railway infrastructure modernization projects on the Riga-Lugaži route. There are two major projects planned: modernization of stations on the Riga-Lugaži line (Jugla, Garkalne) and on the Riga-Lugaži-State Border section. An online consultation with suppliers will take place on January 21, 2025, via the Microsoft Teams platform.
During the consultation, representatives of Latvijas dzelzceļš will familiarize the participants with the terms of the tender, technical requirements, and collect proposals for improving the documentation.
In the first quarter of 2025, the company will also launch a tender for the modernization of passenger infrastructure on the Riga-Liepaja line. All projects include design and construction work aimed at improving rail traffic and passenger convenience.
