In February 2025, SJSC “Latvijas dzelzceļš” (LDz) will announce a tender for the Riga-Liepaja passenger rail infrastructure modernization project. The project includes design and construction. In order for interested suppliers to be able to familiarize themselves with the procurement conditions and offer their recommendations, LDz organized an online consultation on 7 January 2025.
The purpose of the event is to present the main procurement conditions to suppliers, examine their capabilities in accordance with the technical specification and receive proposals for improving the documentation. LDz emphasizes the importance of exchanging opinions to improve the quality of the tender.
Suppliers are also invited to submit their written comments and proposals by 25 January 2025 in electronic format. This approach will ensure transparency and consideration of the interests of all participants.
