Maersk has signed an agreement with the Kazakh company Kedentransservice on a strategic partnership in the field of cargo terminal services. The new stage of cooperation covers key logistics operations in Kazakhstan.
Under the agreement, Kedentransservice will provide Maersk with container handling and storage services, as well as ensure first and last mile transportation through its extensive network of branches across the country. This will expand Maersk’s logistics capabilities in Central Asia.
On May 21, 2025, the first batch of Maersk containers arrived at the Kedentransservice branch terminal in Astana, marking the beginning of the active implementation of the agreement.
