ONE has added a new eco-friendly container ship, ONE Singapore, to its fleet.

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced the delivery of ONE Singapore, the sixth in a series of 20 container ships equipped to run on methanol and ammonia. The ceremony at the Imabari Shipbuilding shipyard in Hiroshima marked another milestone in the company’s extensive fleet renewal program.

The 13,900 TEU container ship, equipped with state-of-the-art eco-friendly technologies, will strengthen ONE’s position on key international routes. The vessel was named after the company’s global headquarters in Singapore, which, according to CEO Jeremy Nixon, highlights ONE’s close connection with the Singapore maritime cluster and its role as a leading global shipping hub.

Since establishing its headquarters in Singapore in 2017, ONE has been actively developing sustainable maritime logistics and strengthening its presence in the region. The new Singapore-flagged, Lloyd’s Register-classed container ship underscores the company’s commitment to innovation and environmental standards in shipping.
