Polaris Autoliners has launched a new weekly ro-ro service connecting Bremerhaven with Oslo and Drammen. The route is dedicated to the transportation of cars and is a response to the growing demand for logistics solutions for the automotive industry.
“Norway is an important market for international vehicle transport, particularly as one of the world’s leading importers of electric vehicles,” according to Polaris Autoliners CEO Marius Toft.
The new route is integrated into the company’s global network, which includes destinations in the Mediterranean, the Far East, Australia and North America.
The weekly departures will allow customers to reduce delivery times, optimize supply chains and increase transport capacity. The first departure on the new route took place in January, strengthening Polaris Autoliners’ position in the automotive logistics sector.
