In recent days, new investments in Baltic ports have become increasingly important, and the recent event in Szczecin is evidence of the development of transhipment employment. Port Gdański Eksploatacja has reloaded two new Liebherr LHM 280 mobile cranes, expanding its resources after purchasing the equipment last year. With a maximum lifting capacity of 84 tonnes and a radius of 40 metres, these impressive machines provide a print port that can handle loads of up to 100 tonnes, working in tandem. The introduction of this new equipment will further expand the company’s scope of operations, increasing the volume of cargo handling, cargo projects and bulk cargo, which will ultimately contribute to inefficiencies.
The new LHM 280 cranes will also provide greater efficiency when handling bulk goods thanks to the use of a modern diesel engine drive, which complies with EU Stage V/EPA Tier 5. Port and efficiency efficiency. It is worth noting that this investment is a continuation of the activities undertaken by Port Gdański Eksploatacja, which last year resulted in the delivery of 3 Liebherr LHM 550 mobile cranes, which are successfully operating at the Dworzec Dziewny quay.
