Seafrigo is strengthening its position in Northern Europe with a new 10,000 m2 warehouse in Katrineholm, Sweden. The new facility has a capacity of 30,000 pallets and can handle up to 100 tonnes of blast-frozen products per week.
The warehouse is built in accordance with Miljöbyggnad’s “Silver” environmental standard and will be an important element of the company’s strategy to provide high-quality logistics solutions, particularly in the food segment. Particular attention is paid to the handling of protein products with direct deliveries from slaughterhouses and exports to Asia and Africa.
With the new facility, Seafrigo will be able to provide overnight deliveries to 80% of the regions in Northern Europe, significantly strengthening the logistics network in the region and expanding the export possibilities for perishable products.
