In the first 10 months of 2024, the volume of rail freight between Kazakhstan and China reached 26.6 million tons, an increase of 13% compared to the same period last year. This represents an increase of 3.06 million tons, the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan reported.
Road transport shows even more impressive growth: in the third quarter of 2024, the volume increased to 1.9 million tons, which is 60% more than last year. This increase of 0.71 million tons underlines the growing role of road transport in trade between the countries.
