The Deputy Minister of Transport of the Republic of Latvia, Uldis Reimanis, recently conducted a fact-finding visit to the Port of Aktau. During the visit, Amir Atambaev, Acting President of JSC “NC “AMTP,” provided a comprehensive overview of the infrastructure and investment opportunities at the Port of Aktau. Additionally, Atambaev detailed the technical and financial metrics of upcoming development projects.
The dynamic growth of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TMTM) sets the stage for the involvement of Baltic companies in the expanding transportation flows. Notably, during the recent General Assembly of TMTM held on October 29 in Aktau, LTG Cargo (Lithuanian Railways) was welcomed into the Association, further diversifying its membership.
As of today, the TMTM Association boasts 25 member companies, representing 11 different countries, highlighting its increasing global reach and collaborative efforts within the transport industry.
