Туркменистан приступил к строительству автомагистрали Мары – Туркменабат в рамках более масштабного проекта высокоскоростной автомагистрали Ашхабад – Туркменабат. Начало строительства совпало с завершением строительства участка Теджен – Мары, о чём сообщил председатель Гурбангулы Бердымухамедов в ходе ознакомительного визита на строительную площадку автодороги в Марыйском велаяте.
During his visit, Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of continuous attention to the project, specifically highlighting the need for modernizing highway signage and establishing an efficient traffic regulation system. He issued specific instructions to the relevant authorities to ensure these aspects take precedence in the development.
The Ashgabat – Turkmenabat highway project stands out as one of Turkmenistan’s major national transport initiatives. The country’s transportation sector is undergoing substantial growth and modernization in alignment with its national development strategy, incorporating new technologies and fostering strategic partnerships with international organizations and investors.
