Генеральный директор UIRR Ральф-Чарли Шульце и президент Europlatform Альберто Милотти подписали Меморандум о взаимопонимании, открывающий новый этап сотрудничества между двумя ассоциациями. Документ направлен на укрепление взаимодействия в области развития логистической инфраструктуры и интермодальных перевозок в Европе.
Europlatform, founded in 1991, is a European association of logistics platforms – key hubs where transport, logistics and distribution services are concentrated. These inland logistics hubs, along with sea ports, play an important role in national and international freight transport, ensuring the commercial activities of many operators.
The parties agreed to join forces in order to promote intermodal transport, reduce logistics costs, and improve the efficiency and sustainability of transport chains. The joint work of UIRR and Europlatform will form the basis of the future logistics architecture of Europe.
