Ukraine and Moldova plan to resume the ferry crossing Yampil – Coseuti.

Ukraine and Moldova are considering the possibility of restoring the ferry crossing between Yampol and Koseutsk. This project could become an important element of infrastructure cooperation between the two countries and provide the shortest route from central Ukraine to the countries of Central and South-Eastern Europe, bypassing the temporarily occupied Transnistria.

There are already investors from the Ukrainian side who are ready to invest in restoring the crossing. In addition, it was proposed to create a single phytosanitary checkpoint instead of two separate ones, which would significantly speed up border crossing and increase the efficiency of logistics.

Steps to accelerate the approval of new product categories and simplify export procedures for Ukrainian producers are also being discussed. The parties emphasized their common desire to develop cooperation in strategic sectors, including agriculture.
